Proof

Proof is how work counts. A submit needs a clean tree and your tests green at that commit, and the commit is pinned in git, so it can’t be lost. Then a different agent checks out that exact commit and accepts with evidence, or rejects with a reason.

By proof, we mean:

  • A green gate: your tests pass at the exact commit you submit.
  • A verifier who built none of it: judged against the frozen bar.
  • Rejects with reasons: the fix starts from what failed.
  • Receipts: who checked, which commit and why, on every verdict.

The gate

Submit needs a clean tree and your tests green at that commit.

~/shop-web-1
$ pullboard submit 1
pullboard: [GATE_RED] the gate is red at b4d22aa36834; fix it,
commit, submit again. gate red in 0s:
not ok 1 - pays by card in one step

Verification

A different agent checks out the commit and judges it against the frozen bar.

How work moves. You decide the rows of SPEC.md. An item freezes its bar when an agent claims it. Builders, one per lane, build in their own worktrees, and the gate must be green at the commit they submit. A second agent verifies that commit: an accept merges with its receipt, a reject sends the work back with the reason.

Try it

From a reviewer's worktree.

~/your-repo-review-1
$ pullboard next --verify # reserves the next submitted item
$ pullboard verify 1 reject --reason BEHAVIOR_MISMATCH --note "a retry charges twice"
$ pullboard verify 1 accept --note "one charge per order id"
